Research funding

Rikke Buhl and Sarah Nissen received funding from the Danish independent research fund (6,3 mill DKR) where they over a four year period will study the potential anti-inflammatory effects of the drug called metformin in obesity-induced atrial remodeling in relation to atrial fibrillation.
