Yearly meeting in the Equine Cardiac Group

The yearly meeting in The Equine Cardiac Group was held at the Panum Institute August 25 2025.

Both young and senior researchers presented their latest research within atrial fibrillation where both new treatments, effect of exercise and obesity was discussed.

Several collaborators from human medicine and basic scientists participated and the translational benefit of studying a large animal – the horse – with a comparison to human were lively discussed.

Great to have honest discussions were both successes, failures and doubts was shared with colleagues and collaborators.
